PITTSBURGH, November 9, 2021 / PRNewswire / – FNB Corporation (NYSE: FNB) announced that it has integrated its Online Store shopping tool in the FNB Direct mobile app as part of a series of innovative enhancements that build on customers’ ability to bank digitally. Along with a significant upgrade to its mobile banking experience, including many new features, the company has expanded its range of online loan applications.

Online store improves FNB’s solution center concept

FNB has enhanced its proprietary solution centers with the transition to the eStore. Now available in the FNB Direct mobile app and on fnb-online.com, the online store will also be available at interactive kiosks at First National Bank branches in 2022. The online store enables customers to use digital technology to perform a wide range of banking activities, including:

Improved mobile functionality

In addition to integrating the eStore, FNB has redesigned FNB Direct to be even more user-friendly. The upgraded app incorporates a new modern look, streamlined navigation, and direct access to features most likely to be used by customers, such as account balances, Zelle® payments, shopping tools and account opening and ETF contact details.

Highlights include:

  • Mobile access to the eStore.
  • The credit center. Customers can easily view their credit score, reports and detailed information on the factors that affect their score. With alerts and tips to help improve their credit score over time, this powerful tool empowers clients to better understand and manage one of the key aspects of their financial health.
  • Customer service chat. Customers can now exchange messages with an FNB customer service representative in a secure environment, without leaving the mobile app.

These additions build on the rich functionality of ETFs mobile banking experience, which includes mobile deposit capabilities, and is part of a long list of updates that allow customers to do more of their banking from their mobile device. Other new features include adding new online bill recipients, scheduling recurring and future transfers, importing contacts for Zelle® payments, and accessing electronic statements and payment history. Further improvements are on FNB’s roadmap for early 2022.

Additional loan applications online

FNB continues to expand the types of loans and other services consumers can apply for online, with apps now available for ETFs credit cards, mortgage products, home equity lines of credit, home equity loans and asset-based loans for small businesses.
